Yesterday was 10 weeks post-op... time flies!

Here's latest set of pictures. As you can see, still got the wrinkly nips issue going on, but I think overall swelling is going down especially at the side/underarm area where I had the most swelling to start with... still a fair bit to go though I think.

Still got compression vest on 24/7, as when I recently spent the day with it off swelling definitely got worse by end of day.

Looking good donut, how long did you find it took before you could sleep on your front?

Well, that's a funny thing! - I always used to sleep on my side before the op, then learnt to sleep on back whilst in the binder thingy, and still sleep on my back now!

I've been vest-less now since yesterday morning, to see if it makes any difference now... so far so good, no noticeable increase in swelling this time, although I haven't been doing much physical activity either!

See how things look in the morning, may well put on again tomorrow as a bit of lifting and shifting to do.

Oh I forgot to mention the one thing I have noticed was that yesterday evening after wearing a t-shirt all day, started to get a slight tingling feeling around the nips. Presumably (hopefully!) that is something to do with sensation slowly coming back? - or might just be because a looser t-shirt moving about all day over chest, as opposed to the tight vest not moving at all?

Anyone else notice this soon after they stopped wearing vest?

It's the same for me, I used to always sleep on my side and now that I no longer wear the vest, I tried sleeping on my side but couldn't but I was able to fall asleep on my back very easily now

That feeling is what I had after 2 weeks of wearing the vest non stop, when I started to wear just a shirt or a t-shirt that tingling feeling stays there all the time when you walk around, I still have the feeling now at 4 weeks post op with just a shirt on, although that feeling is not there when you wear the compression vest.

Interesting! - well it isn't just me then, which is good to hear... so I'll assume it is all normal!

The past week things have been changing on a daily basis it seems.

Couple of day ago when I took the vest & compression T-shirt off in the evening, my left-had side had changed considerably during the day - a lot of swelling went during one day, amazing... Chest felt a completely different shape that I way used to, if that makes sense.  Scrutiny in the mirror revealed the two sides had evened up quite a bit, which was pleasing.

Now this evening when I took off vest & T, right nip had become very pointy! - not like in the old puffy mooby days, but small and quite hard and conical... very strange.  Now been topless for 30 mins or so, and its flattened out a bit.  Nice warm shower in a minute and then bed, without vest tonight I think, so see how that works out in the morning!

I took some pics Thursday as usual, just not got around to sorting them out yet! - it will be 12 weeks this coming Thursday, so will try and find the time to do another side-by-side montage at say 4-8-12 weeks to see how that looks.

Glad to see there's a new batch of guys getting lined up for Mr Levick's "special pliers" !!

11 weeks post-op:

Hi guys, sorry been a bit of a delay this time, been very busy lately!

Here are my usual pics at 11 weeks. That was on Thursday. On Friday / Saturday when I took vest off in the evening I could feel a significant and sudden reduction in the swelling of left hand side - felt like more swelling had gone than I even realised was there to start with, if that makes sense?!

Since Saturday night I've not had any compression garments on at all, to see what happened, and so far so good I think. Will probably put on again tomorrow though as some heavy work to do and the support feels very reassuring - kind of got used to it now.

I think the 2 sides are evening up now, but things do seem to change on an almost daily basis, so who knows what another week will bring?

I can see great improvement on that "funny" side since last time. You really are looking good, must make you wonder if the compression vest is now helping or hindering that sides improvement?

Thanks Ian  :)

Yes, I'm thinking that by now, coming up to 3 months post, the compression vest probably doesn't have a great more it can do, and maybe nature is best left to take its course.  That said, I have had it on all day as been doing fairly hard physical work and the extra support still feels very beneficial in these circumstances.

12 Weeks post-op:

Slight improvements over last week I think? - the 2 sides do seem to be slowly evening up, which is a relief... whether or not they will become even enough so as not to notice any difference remains to be seen of course.

Generally at the moment I've got compression vest / t-shirt on in the day and off at night, as doing physical work in the days and the extra support is good.

Still a bit of swelling to the top outer chest / underarm area, which is pretty annoying. Be glad when that's gone!

Still concerned that the right nip isn't going to fully resolve all by itself, but we'll have to see... if no improvement in couple of weeks I might pop in to see Mr Levick again.

Here's todays pics:

Looks brilliant mate, time to get in the gym and build some muscle and make that chest really stand out! You should look pretty good with a few months of training too cos you've got a good frame to start with!

Thanks G! - I'll take that as a compliment... I'm just working so many hours at the moment I literally don't have time to go to a gym, as much as I have all the good intentions of doing so!  Hopefully things will change in a few weeks time, as I really do want to get a bit of definition to chest.

Wooohoooo!

3 months anniversary today! - that went by pretty quickly!

Took some more photos today to make up before-after-1-2-3-month comparison montage photos with, which hopefully find time to do later tonight.

Looking ok in a T or polo shirt - though still constantly checking chest in shop windows, car mirrors etc. half expecting moobs to suddenly reappear - wonder when I'll stop doing that?

Still wouldn't go topless yet due to creased right-hand side... Hoping that sorts itself out in next month or so.

More later!
