Results are looking really good mate!!!
I can't believe all that running around you had to do after the op!

Cheers, my side profile is SO much better. That's the angle I hated the most. I'm just taking things super easy. I'm not back at work til 17th, then I'm in for 1 week before another 2 weeks off for Christmas! I have scar tissue to come but knowing what to expect from the people on here really helps your head around it.

The first couple of days are tough tho but they'll be worth it   :)

Day 7 post op
Crazy, a week already! I haven't even left the house since the op, It's flown by.

Just took a shower and removed the plasters. No real change in appearance other than the expect improvement with regards to bruising. One big difference was my mobility. Probably the first shower I've enjoyed since the op. It's a real boost to your head when you can feel how much more mobile you are. A couple more days and I should think I'd be there or thereabouts to full movement. Still got 11 more days til I'm back at work so I'll keep things easy.

Day 10 post op
The days are into double figures and everything is much easier. Movement is good, i can prob do more then i am doing but i'd rather do less than im able then try to do more. The vest has been reasonable comfortable through-out (although it does make me a bit warm sometimes, big deal tho). One thing i do seem to have got from the vest is a few spots :-[ (mainly down the centre of the vest?) but im sure i can deal with that, it's not like im looking to run down the street naked...not just yet ;)

Haven't uploaded a pic since day 4 so i thought i'd get a couple up. Bruising is going down very nicely now. I have the odd lump and bump but im trying not to poke my chest around too much until i feel im at a stage where i can massage it, then i can do all the touching i want lol.

Things seem to be moving along nicely, pretty much what i was expecting. If anything its been less uncomfortable then i thought it would be. Once your're past the first 5 days or so things seem to improve pretty quickly and it just seems a case of ticking off the days before the final result. Im aware there are going to be good and bad days along the road and to be honest, short of having a quick look when i shower and taking the odd picture i've not really paid much attention to things.

Im pretty happy with how things are moving. It's weird but i looked at my chest tonight thinking "i don't even really know what a natural looking chest is like on me". What is my normal? It's easy to look at other people and think "they have a natural looking flat chest" but when all you've known of your own chest is the gyno one you had it's strange (to me anyway).

Anyway, the pictures...(the person that takes my photos seems to always take the front angle with my left hand side shoulder (the right hand side of the picture) higher then the left making the nipple look higher then it is but if you look at my shoulder it's not quite straight on)

My compression vest doesn't feel as tight as it was a couple of days ago so I've started wearing a couple of t-shirts underneath. Seems to have made a reasonable difference, not sure what else I can do. I have a size Small on the tightest setting  :-\

Mine shrinks too when I wash it. Every 2 days. I was told that its only the nipple that needs compression so you could just 'pad' that area.

Well done on recovery mate, roll on tight fitting white T-shirt weather!

Cheers stem, I'll try to shrink it a bit more via washing it I think sounds the best idea. Maybe I am being too careful when I wash it or maybe the vest is just more comfortable so I don't notice it as much? Not sure I'll try a few things thanks for the ideas.

Hell yea about the t-shirt thing. I'm already putting on t-shirts thinking this could be tighter lol

Cheers mate, got a lot of healing to go but happy with the results so far. Need to book a follow up with karidis for the new year. Got some swelling at the arm pit area (where the arm holes are in the vest) . Took a shower tonight and started feeling the scar tissue but it's all part of the process.

2 weeks post op
Scar tissue has started to appear now. Got a couple of hard areas of it.

I'm back at work Monday for the first time since the op. I think I'll keep the vest on 24/7 until then, it's an extra 3 days but it's pretty comfortable when I'm just sat around the house. Think I will start massaging then to depending on how tender it is at that time.

Will email karidis' office today to book a follow up date in the new year. Other than that not much to report.
