I had surgery in May. After that recovery has been fine, but recently the breast area (nipple/wound area) has become sensitive again. Could it be possible that the wounds are somehow causing this newlyl found sensitivy or is it the gland starting to regrow? I'm scared that it's the latter.

I have the post-op checkup on 9th of September, should I wait or contact my PS right away and possibly get my hormones checked?

On that note, are there any obvious signs of hormone imbalance, other than possible breast growth of course?
Surgery on 11th of May. *gulp*

Who knows?

It could be the nerve endings reattaching themselves.

Does the tissue feel any different?  I have started having some slight discomfort as well, and I had surgery in May, and I'm fairly sure it's normal and just your body regaining feeling in those areas.

Dunno about the tissue feeling different.

The thing i'm experiencing is kinda weird to explain, sometimes i feel nothing, then suddenly like a shirt rubs the nippe area and i get this slight stinging feeling in pretty much in the middle of the nipple area. Also if i press that area gently I get the same feeling.

It also seems that the nipple area has regained some of its puffyness.  :-[
