@usernamehere  oh yours will be even better i hope. i had a lot of glandular tissues that needed to be removed . hence it is taking more time to heal. the nipple to pop thing that mine also doesnt happen, but it feels like it will happen soon enough. there are a lot of healing processes going on inside the chest right now, just let it take its own course of time, everything will be just fine

If anyone needs any query to be answered face to face, i am open to do that.
WHY? because getting out of gynecomastia has been like a dream come true to me, this is what i did from my first salary, as i havent yet told my parents that i had surgery. they still feel i gymmed a lot and got in shape. (they dont stay with me ). And i am of the belief, that if you can correct it surgically, do NOT hesitate :) You will feel a LOT more confident and it is essential.

and Dr. Prashant has been a really nice doctor and is very cooperative too. ANy quries, anything, just ask me or @usernamehere . i am sure he will be happy to help too :)

@jinr0h thanks man.. Pre op anxiety is totally normal.. Just be patient.. Once you're through the initial days everything will be worth it.. And do update us on how your surgery went whenever possible.. I don'have any pre op pics, will share post op pics soon.. Trying to get the image size reduced.. There's this odd 128kb limit.. Even VGA images have larger sizes these days  :D

@fishing_aint_fun thanks for your positive comments bro.. Not quite sure about how well the unevenness might clear cuz the skin is attached to the muscle at some points but i really don't care.. I'm just happy having the glands gone.. I think that's one of the most important things, being realistic about your expectations post op.. Don't expect to look like a model or have girls fawning over you cuz your chest looks like a man now (you just might, never know) ;).. I am, as I've said a hundred times before, :P more than happy with a flat chest as compared to the puffy nipples before.. Don't care about anything else   ;D

dear username and  fishing_aint_fun

after reading both of your surgery experience , it seems that before surgery everyone is anxious and nervous , because of that it might be possible that guys don't get operated and they hide and live with gynecomastia . i am sure after reading these genuine and honest review at least this anxiety and fear will be less . also both of you are sharing and ready to help others which is very healthy sign of this forum

the postoperative period has some problems but what matter is the final outcome which both of you have got and very delightful that you are now gyno free .

fishing_aint_fun your gynecomastia appear very large . what was the procedure done . has any drain put . any excision of skin done?

how many days it took to recover completely

@ usernamehere after 1st month see this was my condition.(see pic) i was happy with this result too, but after 3 months, even this retraction of skin it is just gone ! (see pic)

@nitesh yes mine was big. 3rd grade may be. the doc felt my chest and said "bahut gland hein tera" . that struck like a bolt to me frankly. i felt like my chest will look uneven and it will be so weird, i can never have a perfect chest and all that, but i thought atleast i can wear a tight fit t shirt. NO drainage was put. Yes there were excision and stitches on both sides. actually i hadnt taken a single day off from office. saturday morning i got it done, and monday i was at office. i should have taken a day off and taken rest. because of a lot of jerking moments and bus journeys within a week after operation, hematoma and seroma formed. (it generally forms in small amount that either dissolvs automatically or is removed by a syringe. ) that was then removed after 2 weeks after removal of one stitch as hematoma developed considerably on the right side. the swelling that you see after operation is NOT residual tissue, but it is internally bled blood.  i completed 3 months yesterday. i would still require more days so that no one can say looking at mu chest that something ha been done. as there is very minute bruise left (you can see in the pic may be? )

Here's my post op Week 6 pic.. Right side has healed well despite having all issues(i've got a ton of pics from when it was swollen and leaking and after having the stitches removed etc.).. Left side is still having small pockets of fluid, you might be able to see in the pic.. Gives it a slight gland-ish appearance at times too.. But hey, I'm not complaining.. Let it heal at its own pace..

@usernamehere   oh that is nothing.  just massage that area with coconut oil a lot of times (doctor asked me to do so) and start with stretching exercises and gradually start working out. you movement will resume to become normal after stretching for a few days

Today marks exactly one year since i had my surgery done to get rid of my man boobs.. Yup.. That's what they were.. Boobs that didn't belong on me.. Well, seeing the amount of views this post has received in the past year I'm sure it must've helped atleast a few people make up their minds as far as surgery is concerned weighing all the pros and cons.. So let me give you an idea of what it would feel like one year down the line from your surgery..
One word.. AMAZING.. That's the only way i can describe it.. I mean nothing could be as liberating as getting rid of them.. My confidence is super high as far as physical appearance is concerned and the amount of freedom I've got thanks to this surgery is tremendous.. I've been able to swim in public without feeling ashamed of my puffy breasts sticking out.. I can wear absolutely anything i want since i don't have to worry about my nipples popping out of my clothes and worrying about people staring at them wondering what's wrong..
Yes, even living with man boobs is absolutely possible.. But I always had self confidence issues and wasn't able to.. This surgery didn't give me the confidence on it's own mind you.. But it made things a lot more easier when it came to regaining it.. There are millions of people living with man boobs and they're not even bothering about what other people think.. I appreciate their confidence.. However.. For the few like me who aren't able to live with them, surgery is an absolute God send..
Be realistic about what the surgery will give in terms of results.. No surgery is 100% perfect or guaranteed to be free of complications.. I faced a ton of complications.. Went through a minor hellish experience.. But beyond that.. Things just got better and better everyday.. I still have a visible scar which ideally shouldn't have been there.. But to see it, someone would really have to stare at my nipple to figure out it's from a surgery.. And trust me.. People are far more bothered about themselves to stare at one small 1cm nipple scar..
So for all those still contemplating surgery.. I say go ahead with it.. Not for the immediate results.. But the long term results you end up with..
Do your fair share of research before hand mind you.. Go through a few doctors.. I know it's not easy.. But it's far better than regretting the surgery altogether.. Save up if u can't afford it immediately.. I saved up for a little over a year.. And do even more research on post op care.. Since there isn't much out there and to the average layman, you don't understand the importance of it.. One of the main reasons why my recovery was even better than expected was because I started exercising (with caution mind you) and THAT i believe helped me get rid of swelling and also the skin that was stuck to the muscle.. I am 200% on range and strength today and have absolutely no swelling (i had a lot of residual pockets of swelling after 3months)
So please please pleease go for it.. And while you might hate me for recommending surgery for a few months.. A year down the line I'm sure 99% of you will be thanking me..
I don't really visit the forum anymore since I'm super busy these days with work.. However, for anyone who has any queries.. I mean absolutely anything.. Please reply to this post or send me a PM.. I'll reply back as early as possible and help you.. Because I know what it's like cuz i too was in your place once..
