Dark sticky discharge

Hello im on post op 1 month. Today i was massaging the nipple area and then i just squeezed a nipple and and a very little ammout of dark sticky liquid came. Its bloody. But dark. Should i be worried ?

First, why are you squeezing your nipples after surgery?

What you probably saw was a small amount of liquified blood clot which was located in your ducts and which then was expressed by your pressure so that it emerged from the nipple.

Nothing to worry about at all -- totally benign.
