Hey all. My surgery was great, and the results up to this point have been solid.

Lately however, I've noticed my right nipple point out a little bit (gotten puffier). It's not as bad as pre op but its still noticeable, even through my shirts.

I am 4.5 weeks post op and was wondering if this is pretty common for this to happen at this time. I just hope its scar tissue and not left over gland. How do you tell if its scar tissue and how should I go about massaging it?

If it was flat right after surgery then it is scar tissue.  4-6 weeks after surgery you will have the most scarring occur and then it will dissipate over the next year.  Massage may help soften it quicker
