the main reason i want to do surgery is because my nipples are very large. this looks rather strange and is anoying. also it is a big hassle with clothes because you can see my nipples with a t-shirt on. so do they shrink when i get surgery? [IMG]http://imgur.com/a/CvS6H[img]

It all depends on what you mean by large nipples.  Is it the nipples at the center of your areolas which are large, female-like and protrude significantly from the surrounding skin?  Or, are your areolae (pigmented skin surrounding the nipples, which are large.  Or, do you have puffy nipples in which the entire nipple/areolar complex is rounded or dome-like and protrudes beyond the normal surrounding chest skin.

Treatment will vary according to your problem.

Try to send us some photos if possible.

Would the doc know the possible cause of my development which has been prominent the last six months and is accompanied by constantly erect nipples.  I compress with a cheap sport bra but still pretty visible

It is impossible to hazard a guess as to the cause of your recent onset gyne without benefit of a physical exam, extensive medical history and extensive blood tests.  And sometimes, even after all that, we may not have a definitive answer.
