No worries mate :) it was around the 5 week mark, ditched it in the day time and wore it at night time. To be honest, I still wear my spanx vest now during the day. I've worn one for so many years I'm finding hard mentally to just wear nothing. It's like I'm that used to wearing something close to my skin it almost feels weird with just bare skin! I still now find myself running my hand across my chest expecting to feel the gyno! It really bothered me mentally before, I'm sure that will pass. Just really glad to be able to wear clothes that I've always wanted to wear :)

I'm with you on the mental aspect of it , i keep looking expecting to see the moobs but they arnt there!! Iv not bought any new tops yet but all my oversized xl ones are hanging off me like tents !

Few pictures as promised , a little late! I'm nearly 11 weeks post op, still some creasing but gradually getting better. I know it's a long process and it's still early days. Still don't feel comfortable lying on my front, any one else the same?
Hope your recovery is going well guys.
P.s ignore the little shaded spot to the right of my pictures, it's a mark on my camera lens!

Were your nipples soft there? Looks like you have very minimal scar tissue there so you should consider yourself lucky man. My nipples are way puffy again from the scar tissue and I'm at week 7.

Yes mate, I'm no doctor but I wouldn't of thought you'd get scar tissue at such an early stage?

I've read it can start as early as 4-6 weeks post surgery and that's when it happened to me. Since you're nearly 3 months ahead I doubt you will get this problem. I think/hope you'll be smooth sailling from here on out :)

Looks really good mate your doing well. I never lay on my front but i can lay on both sides now and have done for abt a week. Im 5wks  post op tomorrow. According to dr jacobs on here scar tissue can build up at 4-12 weeks post op and take up to a year to settle. I can't feel any yet. My left side seems bigger than my rite though i cant tell if its swelling or fat in there! Are you guys still compressing ? And are you massaging yet?

I quit compressing after 5 weeks and started massaging which I think helped make the hard knots softer. Right now I feel like I'm in a stalemate though. I think we'll just come at a point where the only thing we can do is wait as it heals.

Thats it mate just a waiting game now. Keep up the massage it can only help. Ive read on an american site somewhere the most effective way to massage the scar tissue is layed flat with your hands behind your head. Got to be worth a try. Hope it gets better for you mate.

Hi guys im 8 weeks post op and having creasing trouble. The area where the moobs was is still numb and lumpy n bumpy, massaging daily but unsure if its doing any good. I have to say im really not happy at this stage the creasing is getting me down. When i started my aim was to be able to take my shirt off without embarassment. Feels a million miles away right now though.

I see what you mean but it's still very early days, the nerves aren't healed yet so things will still be numb. He told me once these repair the  skin should start to tighten, remember it's a 12 month process. I'm still numb around the nipple area, the largest scar on my right has really flattened down this last couple of weeks, I can still feel some lumps where the cannula went in.
My right side is far from perfect but like I say I can't really do anything at this stage, I'm just sitting tight and hoping over time it will heal.

Mine's not doing so well either fellas(10 weeks post op now). Some of the same issues here, slight creasing when I flex or lift my left arm, nipples have a different tilt now and scar tissue is making my nipples puffy again. I will try to post a picture tommorow but I think we're all in the earlier, rough parts of recovery. Lets hang in there :)

Charlie your pics look pretty good to me at 3mths your on track imo well done. Your right its a 12mth slog of a recovery, i thought i was mentally prepared for the ups an downs but the down bit is a real struggle especially after parting with 4.5k!! I cant help thinking the big crease on my right side is going to 'set in' and not recover , hope to god im wrong.  Flatness yer all we can do is hang in there as you say, sorry to hear about your scar tissue, not sure if i have any yet but sometimes under my right nip if feels squidgy but it seems to go after 5 minutes massage so i dont know. Did you have yours with mr levick?
