Is this proper technique?

Very interested in getting my gynecomastia surgery. The surgeon who I am might go with has a video of him performing the surgery here:

For the doctors here, is this proper technique? I am really nervous and I hear all these stories about failed surgeries, looking worse post-op, and revisions. 

Does he know what he's doing? I don't think he is a gynecomastia specialist, but he is rated highly online.

In my opinion he certainly looks like he knows what he's doing, he's doing what I've seen other experienced surgeons doing online. I think you'll be in safe hands.

I echo that - seems to know exactly what he's doing.

I found out that he is not certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery so it really is making it difficult for me to go with him now.

Look at his before or after pictures if he has any, there you will find your answer.

Who's to say his before/after pics are even his? Since he isn't certified, it is hard for me to believe anything on his website.

If your looking at plastic surgeons in New York why not go for Dr Elliot Jacobs ?
