can blood pressure be an issue with surgery? Mine can fluctuate from 125/70- 138-140/72.

Blood pressure always fluctuates -- minute to minute.  What is important is that you do not have high diastolic numbers (ie the lower number) and therefore you should be quite safe.

You should mention your concern to the anesthesiologist when you meet him/her just prior to surgery.

You should be just fine.

High blood pressure increases bleeding and additional risks during surgery.Normal to minimal increases in blood pressure should not be an issue.
