Stitch removal

I had surgery at Coramed in Wroclaw, Poland last night, all seems good so far   
I have to have stitches removed back in the UK in 7-10 days - has anyone else gone to their GP to request this? not sure if they will do it?

You GP surgery will likely have a practice nurse that will do it. Plenty of people injure themselves on holiday and need stitches removing when they get home, so it's a fairly normal request.

Pleased to say the practice nurse removed stitches & drains with no issues, seemed quite interested in my experience and was very understanding
