Hello,
I'm 3 weeks post-op. I can feel two large and very hard lumps behind my nipples which I'm aware is probably scar tissue as I had the glands removed. Directly after surgery my chest was totally flat but now its puffed out a little more, I assume this is due to the swelling. I know its still early days and this swelling should subside. However seeing cases like this concern me:

People still having huge lumps of scar tissue 8 months after surgery, ending up with a worse looking chest than pre-surgery. I thought scar tissue always dissolved/shrank eventually.
Is there anything I can do to help mine on its way? I have tried massaging but its quite painful, I think I need to wait longer for that. I've also heard injections can be helpful (Kenalog)?

What are your experiences with scar tissue/lumps post-surgery?
