Hello

I had Gynaecomastia for 14 years, before paying £4,000 for private surgery in October 2014, and corrective surgery in November 2015 - surgery done by Dr Bernard Sleiter. I am not 100% happy with the result because, although it is much much better than it used to be, I am still left with what I can only describe as 'over hang' or 'side boob' on my right side (the left as you look at the photos).

Now, I know I am not in great shape (I'm working on that) as I've not been able to go to the gym since before Xmas - but I just feel like this side of my chest is never going to be right. The skin on the side of chest should be tight and flat, not hanging over the side. So, now when I wear a t-shirt - instead of my chest sticking out the front, it hangs over the side.

I got a gift from my mobile phone network for a £60 Amazon Gift Voucher, so thinking of getting a load of health products from there to help me get back into shape - Protein Shake powder, Fat Binding pills etc. and stumbled upon 'Grenade Testosterone Boosters' which, when I googled it, says can help Gynaecomastia.

My question is - should I buy it? The way I see it is, I don't have Gynaecomastia anymore as that was surgically removed - I just have excess skin as a result of having Gynaecomastia in the past. Would testosterone boosters help me get a more normal, manly chest, or is it going to be yet another waste of money?

Any help/advice/stories of past experience would be appreciated.

Thanks

Marc (Manchester England)

There are no magic pills to get rid of Gynaecomastia.   What they sell are expensive and they do not work.   I personally never had surgery so  am not really qualified to judge.   Perhaps a revision might help, post a question in the section headed; "Ask a Doctor".

-i am no doctor-
I believe that after the gyne has developed some kind of testosterone booster will not change anything to whats already there if that makes sense.
My advice for the moment is focus on losing weight,  you dont need any of those health procucts to achieve this.
If after this you are still not satisfied perhaps consider a revision

It would be another waste of money...
You've had 2 gyno surgeries...a 3rd i dont think will make you any happier. It will never be 100% perfect. If its better than before...take it and move on.
Diet/exercise is what i would say to do.

You need to diet and EXERCISE. Check my thread on user photos to see how much of a difference it makes.

Also DO NOT use any testosterone products. That will make it worse. Excess testosterone will make the body produce excess estrogen to compensate. Avoid anything with testosterone and get it naturally by exercising. Focus on chest exercises and cardio.

In regards to testosterone, you should only take it under a physician supervision, but taking it doesn't mean that you will produce EXCESS estrogen.  It's a possibility but that in itself doesn't always cause gyno.  There really has to be an imbalance between the two.  Yes, if testosterone goes up you will convert more estrogen but without proper labs to keep things in check you shouldn't self administer if you're already prone to gyno.

Im pretty sure that with healthy food you will see a totally difference. I see from your pictures, your chest is in harmony with the rest body, what i mean is you need to loose fat. Eating proper with a mild excercise you will see dramatically changes as smokey says by experience.
I know its hard and need time and mirror is always in front of us everyday, but you definately dont need another surgery. If you can achieve a good weight with fat loss then only maybe you can see clearly how much of tissue (or fat) need to be removed, which is hard now to tell. Its hard for doctors to achieve the best result (a flat chest) for overweighted persons. Also imo a flat chest with overweight body it will only look unnatural.

Yes exactly. Look at my pictures. I had the same overhang fat on the right breast. Took exercise and diet and time and went completely away.

Looking at your pictures, you have a high fat body percentage. No puffiness in the areolae to suggest gynecomastia, so what you have is likely pseudogynecomastia- just fat, that will improve with regular healthy diet and exercise. The only pill I know of that is relatively safe and can help with fat loss is Orlistat, available over the counter in the US.
