Yeah I'm over the moon with the nipples if they stay anything like that I'll be happy. They was just so puffy before, couldn't bare looking at them. It's still so hard to believe that they'll ever go down after being so used to them before. Yeah that's it mate, I had my first shower today and changed the dressing. Then to keep the new dressings on for around 4 days and that's it then.

All we can do now I guess, just ride it out and hope for the best. I haven't had any bleeding yet touch wood, so I'm assuming his new procedure is working well

I have my first day at work tomorrow, I think its a bit of a mistake on my part, have still got trouble lifting my arms above my head and my job requires me using my hands quite a bit. The vest is going to be tricky aswell, wish it wasn't around my gut aswell.

I dont think you'll have an issue with bleeding, I think hematoma normally happens within the first 24 hours of surgery from what I gather, should be all clear from that now I think.

And I know what you mean about not being able to look at them, I'm 27 and had years of mates taking the piss or making sly comments. If mine stay anywhere near what they are now ill be chuuuffed

Same im struggling to lift my arms that high. I'm fine touching my head, but trying to raise my whole arm that high is still difficult.
Maybe pull a sickie?haha
I work in the construction industry and my job is very physical, eapically on the chest. I asked dr kardis again just before I was about to go down to surgery how long do you think I'll need off work. He assured me 2 weeks would be fine. I'm just gunna take 3 weeks as I was expecting a month anyway.

Let me know what it's like when you take your dressings off please pal. I'm thinking we'll be able to move about abit better then. The one on the arm pit is just akward

Once I got home from London I took my pads off that the nurse put on me and put on the water proof ones, that was 2 days after surgery. Since then I have taken off the arm pit ones twice because they keep coming unstuck. The incisions at the armpits look closed now pretty much but im trying to keep them on for a few more days anyway just in case.

Im on the tools myself, and so far today I've found things to be ok as long as I try and use other muscles instead of my chest. Im trying to use pull movements where I can. My chest I aching a bit more than it has past couple of days if Im honest but ive had no pain!

Update
4 days post op now
Feeling good at the moment, better than I thought I would at this stage. Bruising has all seemed to go yellow now, think it's peaked and will started to fade away.  It's beginning to swell in places, but nothing major.
My movement is getting better by the day, although I tried to reach something in the top cupboard earlier and went a little light headed. But having said that I could barley scratch my head 2 days earlier. The pain isn't to bad at all really, just hurts if you was to touch or prod it.
Looking forward to Wednesday when I'm allowed to remove plasters and drive again.
Will probably post some recent photos then.

I'll post some pics soon probably tomorrow now!

Hey man

Im considering gyno surgery with Karidis too, im im f eastern part of the Europe.

Do you have any indentions or other deformities when you rise your hands up or flex your pecs?

Please keep us posted with your recovery and post more pics as you heal, thanks.

P.S. Are you from London or you traveled for the surgery?

Good information about everything.
How much exactly did this cost if you don't mind sharing this?
I hate living with it too mine has just drastically developed over the past 4 years (im 25 now) similar to yours but larger hard lumps that sit on top of some built up chest muscle that pushes it out more.
I have actually been in touch with Forme Clinic in Prague, but I'm sceptical about how experienced the surgeons are at the procedure.

Alright cristalis
All I have so far is a scab on my right nipple, this was the side where my gyno was really bad. I have some scar tissue forming now which is starting to make it look a little lumpy but no indentations.
I am based near Bristol so is around a 2 hour journey on the train to get into London.

Hi MVQS123
Everything in total came to £5538, this included karidis fee and the hospital fee. It would of came to around £200 more had I opted to have my blood done at the surgery. I had my local doctor do it for free.
Mine before surgery really was bad, the photos don't really show how awful it was. So I completely feel your pain.
I can't really comment on other surgeons. Only on my experience. The advice I could give to you is read what you can on forums like this about the surgeon your thinking off going with. These are honest real people on here who are all in the same situation as us. Weather it be living with or without gyno. I can however recommend karidis, honestly I can't fault the way things have gone so far (touch wood). The day off surgery went perfect and the result so far are looking promising.

Hey

Why are this scabs forming? I seen them in a few pictures on people who had the surgery. What the doc said, is it normal?

14 days post op update
Things don't seem to be going to bad at all. My movement is pretty much back to normal now, I can just feel a little bit of tightness when I stretch my arms up high. To touch you still know you've had something done, but it's x10 better than it was a week ago.

Would say the visible bruising has completely gone now, think the last of that went about day 12.

There is some uneven lumpiness hanging around. Feels hard if I was to touch it. The nurse rang me yesterday to see how I was getting on, she confirmed this was likely to be scar tissue forming.

Also a scab started to appear on my right nipple, the side the gyno was really bad. It first came on around day 7, I can see now it's started to flake off. The nurse also confirmed this is completey normal and nothing to worry about.

Excuse the poor quality photos, hard to take on your own.

Haven't been on here for a while. Been working in France that past 11 days, and been put up in marriot. So been in the sauna and hot tub the past week or so. What an amazing feeling that has been. Instead of watching everyone else enjoy it.
Overall though I feel good, pain wise you wouldn't know you've anything done. You would really have to stretch to feel anything.
All the scabs on my nipples cleared up on pretty much the 3 week mark. They literally just flaked off. Got some bad scar tissue but massaging every night. Still early days so I'm positive all that will clear up.
Today is the 4 week mark. So last day I'll be wearing the compression vest. Although the last 2 weeks of wearing it I've gotten used to it. Don't feel I've noticed it much, espically whilst working. Just have to pull it down every now and then.
To look at my chest it really quite difficult to notice I've had anything done. Just some slight lumpiness but to glance at it you really wouldn't know.
I'll probably post more photos when back in the U.K.
