Stitch removal

I havd had gyno revision surgery 13 may. I had my surgery out of town.now i want to remove my stitches in my city. Can general physician remove my stitches.

So if the doctor is ready to have removal of the  stitches a nurse or ER tech could do it,even an intermediate care facility could do it.
