Chris are the weights having any impact on the shape of your chest? Just wondering if you think they are helping things along or not. I did a chest routine a week ago and noticed things looked a bit better. Do you have pic updates? Also are you able to wear your old pre gyne clothes again?

Is everybody still wearing their compression vests? i wear mine at nights only now.

I think the traing helps smooth the area out because the muscle swells and stretches the skin very slightly!, not to mention the large amount of blood being pushed throughout my skin and muscles to take away toxins from previously masaging the area, so yes i realy think it does make a difference for the better!, if people have no access to the gym they should do a few pressups, but be carefull not to over do it if your not used to doing them.

I still wear my compresion vest all the time at the moment.. except for when i go training, i will discontinue using the vest when i am 8 weeks post op, this is my own personal choice so i suppose opinions can differ on when to stop wearing them.

chris.

ok people i know there has been a couple of issues with myself and stonecold and chestrok.
but today i can honestly say that things look amazin and i am 80% happy with the results.like webster said my indent is disappearing.the lumps are noticably smaller-i have been measuring it week by week.if this type of improvement is maintained im sure to be sorted by feb.
stonecold-i know its ur worry thats there is gland still left mate.if its any consolation it feels like gland left for me below my nipple-but i know its scar tisue because i never had gland there at that particular area and its getting smaller.but it fgeels the exact same as gland gyno.so if i have this im sure you will and chris too.
since i had a much more size gyno compared to you and chris i had a much bigger ridge of scar remember my earlier post i said it was 2-3 inches near my nipple well now its about a inch.
i reckon by feb all of us will be happy or 90-95 % there.

Great update Geg, very pleased to hear you are improving. Are you doing anything specific in terms of correcting the scar tissue, any products or are you massaging, and if so how many times per day?

yes mate im using palmers cocoa like you but have used it only once-its topical so wont make any difference to our scar tissue in our type of gyno correction operation.
the type of massaging im doin is one my dad told me.scarring is a type of keratinized skin.granulated.if you did biology a level at least you may follow this,if not look it up in a medical journal/text book.the scar will always be present, but will flatten-which is what we are after.to get the scar to flatten we have to make it more flexible and softer like the normal cells around it.
do this by vit e supps, vit c supps and massage by flexing the scar-as in pinch it like you would have been able to palpate your gyno gland.once you have it flex it and bend it and slightlyt squeeze it.making it more pliable.remember to stretch your chest and work it out.tighten the muscle will tighten the skin which will naturally flatted the scar and bring more blood for the repair of granulated scar.
this is early stages of scarring.the aim we are after is the later stages where it flattens and feels like skin-even tho it will be present.
however people are all different.im prone to hypertrophic scarring due to dark skin-but even this goes down.some asians and blacks are prone to keloid.then you are really buggered as this will never reduce in size.

by the way i massage at least 4 times a day but at max 4 mins each.better massage more frequently and less duration or you can be prone to swelling due to inflammation if you over due this in turn slows down healing.-

ok been about 1 week since last scar update.
my scarring underneath what i was so worried about is still decreasing size.it is around the same size of my nipple now its just under neath it and giving the appearance of puffy nips still but im sure this will dissipate like the rest of the scarring.
im still massaging 4 times min a day for about 3-5 mins each no pressing or pushing down just gripping the scarr and flexing it and pinching it making it more flexible.i will take sum pics for update.
however the depression is decreasing at a much slower rate.not much difference really.

Nice update Geg at least it seems that you are making progress. Why the depression though?

Regarding my own i have the same issues still. However i woke up on new years day after a fair bit to drink and noticed that my chest was much flatter. I was totally dehydrated so it must have been something to do with water, but my chest looked pretty good. Wish it would look like that all the time. It has filled back in now, but it was nice while it lasted.

that could be due to water retention.as you may know there is more fluid around inflammed areas
basically when all the inflammation is gone im sure your chest will be flat like the way yoou saw it. :)

ok its 9 weeks today since had the op
still improving.the scar tissue is left behind the nipple and its decreasing but at a much slower rate now.i know its scar tissue as it made my nipples puffed out much more than it ever was and it is decreasing and getting flatter.earlier my right nipple had even a crease in it and was so puffed it was inverted but as the scarring is disappearing the nipple is starting to protrude like it had been doing before the op.so all good but still very slowly.i am sure that by 4 months it will be looking good enough for fitted t shirts.fingers crossed.
chestrockwell?how bout you?steve,any improvements?

Phantom's top-tip for bandage removal:

Not looking forward to gaining a 'brazilian' wax-strip effect on removal of your bandages?  Can't stand the look of dirty sticky patches where your bandages once were?  They say post-op bandage removal is worst than sh*itting a white hot cannon ball. With spikes.

WD-40.  As not recommended by your GP.  Or any other health care professional for that matter.  Ease bandages off with WD-40.  God only knows this stuff fixes just about anything in your house, so why not post-operative bandages?

Yesterday I cleaned up excess latex-goo from around my arms with some cotton wool drenched in WD-40 and it all came off with a bit of light rubbing.

I'm off to my GP at 10am for the formal unveiling of my chest.  I am prepared for one wrinkled/saggy/bruised mess.  But I can't wait to put on my tasty compression garment and a tight fitting t-shirt.  Will post a 'one week post-op' update in my 'Surgery with Levick' thread later.

C ya

Well hello my fellow gyne sufferers  ;D sorry for not keeping in touch as im hitting the gym like a mad man just recently.

Its nice to hear you guys are doing so well, unfortunatly ive had a bit of a sh1t time with the scar tissue behind the nipples because my chest looked good and then i decided to massage the lumps and then this brought on some swelling and sent my nips puffy wich realy disheartend me, so i left them alone for around 3 weeks and still no change!, so i resumed massageing again about a week ago and the scar tissue is becoming flatter and more flexible but the nipples are still puffy!.

The good news is that the ridge has 90% gone were  it looked like levick had been with his canular and the scar tissue has dramaticly reduced from the armpit to the nipple...but the puffy nips and lumps of scar tissue remain ???.

And ive also been a busy guy because im going to be a dad again for the second time :D , dont know how that happend  :D

so come on guys tell me what you have been upto and hows ya gyno healing going????.

Fellow gyne sufferers is right im afraid mate. Despite being 3 months out almost, theirs no way i would consider myself free of gyne.

Sorry to hear your not doing so well either Chris. But many congratulations on soon to become a dad  :D

Im sure youve seen my thread with my 2 month pics. Well i will be posting 3 month pics on the 9th feb. I took some today and compared them to my befores and its now becoming apparent that theirs still far to much been left in. The one below was taken today. I just cant believe it to be honest. Im 14% body fat so havent gained any fat or nothing. Im totally disheartned, and never thought back in November that i would be in this position.
