I am an old grandpa.  So how am I qualified to say anything here?  Well, I can tell you that these private conferences with a parent or grandparent are usually equally hard on everyone. But it must be done unless you really want to suffer in silence and alone.

You may be relieved to learn that some of your older male relatives had the same condition in their youth and that it completely resolved.  Usually, you can presume that you will have a similar result.

Conversely, you may find yourself to be in a family like mine where gynecomastia is a family trait. Should that be the case, you will at least find a sympathetic ear and the reassurance that you are not alone.
