I'm curious if any of my fellow bra wearing men, have ever worn one to an EKG.

I normally wear my bra to all of my doctor and dentist appointments, with the exception of my cardiologist. I figured if I wore one, I would have to take it off for the EKG. Taking it off for the test wouldn't be so bad, but I figured trying to get it back on might be a hassle. So I just don't wear it. I have an upcoming appointment, and circumstances dictate that I will have to go braless all day, or wear it to the Dr.

So, I'm just curious what your experiences are.

I wore it to EKG & mammogram .

Mammo tech helped me back into the bra.

I was no big deal.

I wear my bra into my cardiologist all the time and they do an EKG. The nurse simply Works around the bra and gets the test done.

I have probably had at least a dozen EKGs with a bra on.

Thanks for the feedback. Sounds like it's a non-issue.

Seems the medical profession has seen so many different body types, it’s a nonissue with them. I wore mine not just to an ekg put a stress test on top of that. Didn’t want the girls flopping around while on the treadmill. 😁
Zero issues, they just worked around it.

They are going to see you have boobs anyway, so you may as well have the fit and comfort you have come to expect with wearing a bra.

Also, at least for me, after all the daily bra wearing there are visual imprint clues that I wear a bra even in the morning when I go to put one back on. With the presence of breasts and these subtle clues you won't fool them anyway.
If the bra fits, wear it.

My main concern was whether or not I would have to take it off. Sounds like I won't have to. Thanks for all the feedback!

The only thing that I can say is maybe. Most of the time with EKGs, they will work around it. Generally, they will simply move the underwire out of the way and place the electrodes on the sternum and around your left breast. If it's a cardiologist and he or she is looking for something very specific in your EKG, they may have you remove your bra. I've had them done both ways. It's very routine for them women do it all the time.

Why not simply take it off before the appointment?
