Hello, I was just wondering everyone's consensus on hair removal for the chest. Ive shaved before and love the looks ans feeling of being hairless, but hate the feeling of stubble a few days later. Does anyone here wax instead and what sort of results do you get? How long between waxing sessions? And does waxing actually damage the hair follicle and make hair grow back slower and thinner? I bought an at home waxing kit and want to try waxing my chest, but want to kmow if its worth it ober shaving before I endure the pain lol. Thanks!

Still shave.  For me though shaving is reduced to about once a week.  Wax peels are doable but damn painful.  Creams ...meh, if you dont mind chemicals on your body.    The big one for me is the hair around the nipps.

Any depilation method, check first before committing.

For me it has only been the razor on my breast. Chemicals stink, are a mess and as noted are just that, Chemicals.  They are absorbed into our bodies.  I  don't like or need that.  I don't know if its just me or what but I have found I shave much less also than I did at first.  I do like the feel and look of bare hair free breast.

I love the hairless look & feel. It was pure ‘luck’ that as the decision to shave was being considered & then debated I developed a cranial tumor that secreted prolactin. Aside from an enhancing of the boobs its secondary effect is to stifle the hair follicle circulation. Went from fairly simian to hairless in a short period of time. Lost every bit of hair on arms, legs, chest & pits. Drug therapy to gain control of the tumor is successful but the only hair to return was a fine frog hair on the forearm which is nearly invisible.
Happy the chest never regrew. The feeling of some fabric on skin is delicious too. The prolactin jolt only enhanced my dermal sensitivity from the Estrogen excess.

Regards, Bob

Glad you tried it and found it to be bearable, or bare-able.  Pun intended.

No, I'm glad to hear it went well.  I to am curious how long it last.  Smooth feeling is very nice.
Enjoy it and thanks for sharing.

It seems the estrogen that is reshaping my body and giving me breasts has also diminished the hair on my arms, legs and chest.  I have light colored hair and am quite happy simply to use a beard trimmer to cut down the minimal hair on my chest.  An old joke about hair on breasts is that "grass doesn't grow on playgrounds."  Yes, breasts look much more appealing when not covered by a mat of dark hair.  But nature is in charge so we get what we get.., and deal with the consequences the best way we can... ideally with an underwire brassiere.

Interesting thing about myself is I've never had much hair to speak about on my legs or my chest or arms throughout my whole life. Including no hair on my back or backside.  I can shave what little hair i have off my chest in less than 30 seconds. I have more hair under my armpits than anywhere else. I've had soft smooth skin throughout my life.
Funny thing is. I didn't have Gyno till age 64. And being diagnosed Idiopathic at that! Lol.

You remind us Gyno64 that it is an illusion to believe there are only two variants of humans.  Every man and every woman and everyone in between has their own unique biology.  I accept that I've always been a more feminized man.  That has been the source of shame at times.  I didn't have breasts as described by some of the folks hanging out here but I had a soft chest.  Breast development really accelerated a few years ago as my whole body surrendered to what estrogen wanted it to be.  We talk about these things which feels healthy to do.  Perhaps our excitement about having breasts gets the better of us but everything we talk about is honest and real.  I appreciate that.  Thanks everyone for sharing your experience with these many facets of the journey.

I was never a hairy guy on my body.  Still have a full head of hair and shave my face every other day.  I was diagnosed at 61 with Gyne.  What is interesting is that I am a bicycle rider, so I wear biking gear.  Most of competitive guys shave their legs for either wind resistance or caring for wounds.  I am past competitive and no one notices.  Just an old guy with a helmet.

(Old Guy).
I do find it interesting how the both of us came to having Gyno around the same age with minimal hair on our bodies.
Now I do have hair lose on my head. Family genetics likely here with me. Though most of my male ken folks have lots of hair on their bodies.
Not all that sure that not having minimal hair has any correlation to why I developed Gyno or not. But here I am growing breasts. Go figure. Lol

Gyno64,

My Mom had great hair and passed away before my 12th birthday.  My Dad also had great hair until he was 65.  He was mostly bald at 91.

My three sisters all had great hair.  My two brothers, are mostly bald.  I believe it is mostly genetics.  I have not found Gyne in my family tree.  I expect that was not a condition that either was discussed, or not recognized.

I have traced my ancestors back to the 1100's.  That is only because records were kept to determine land rights and title.  Charlemagne is my 47th great-grandfather.  I know most of Europe, believe they are decedents, as he had many other encounters during his life.  Only one is recognized as husband and wife, is Louis.  Probably more than you wanted to know or care.
