Some of us do, and in my case, I must attend an adult daycare centre that insists on referring to me a male even though I'm intersex.

I wear a bra every day to the centre, and it has been accepted by them for the most part. The staff pushed compression garments on me years ago that didn't work out well for me at all (heat rashes). I decided upon a bra full time, and they were not happy with the decision at all. They even had a staff meeting about it and decided that support for my breasts was more important than esthetics. They reluctantly accepted it, and that was years ago.

I have worn a bra full time to the centre since.

They get used to it, and it just becomes normal after a while. Nothing gets said anymore and they leave me alone. The people around you just seem to get over it.

New people, employees and participants, are interesting. They automatically see me as 100% female until told otherwise by staff. That makes things awkward for a while, but that quickly passes as well.

What are your experiences wearing a bra full time?

Even as a teen I realized I would be best served by wearing a bra full time. But the social issues of a boy in school did not facilitate that happening and I was reduced to wearing sporadically in those years with a limited selection of bras available to me then.

University opened up the possibilities to wear more often, but I got married very young which did not.

At one point my wife said I needed a bra more than she did. The comment was derogatory at the time but it did eventually open up the topic to wear a bra. She knew I did sporadically wear one, and I just began to wear it full time eventually and she began to accept that. She quickly began to wash them for me and created a bra drawer for me to keep them in the bed room. It has been a few decades now of enjoying the benefits of a bra full time which I definitely prefer.

When we travel to Europe for extended  trips, I will often see my bras drying on an outside window rack of our apartments along with the rest of the laundry, in full view of anyone on the street. Sort of a satisfying statement that I do wear a bra.
If the bra fits, wear it.
