Hi I am 20 years old.  Always had a big kinda flabby chest.  Was pretty fat as a kid now I am 5"8.5 and about 178lbs.  DO I have gyne or just need to loose more weight?

I'd say it's just weight.  Reduce calories, frequent/smaller meals and cardio workout.  As there's no spot reducing, your body fat will burn off over time from all over your body.

I need to lose a little more than you.  So that I don't get discouraged, my expectations are that it will take 6 to 7 months to realistically see results.  If less than that, fine, but I don't expect it.  No starving, nothing radical that would only give me reason to binge out of frustration.

Good luck.

  • I've had my final operation :)
I am going to say Gland , you appear to be in good shape and look like you work out.....my gyne was the same....i have decent size and shaped pecs but the gland was pushing the nipples  out at the bottom and giving me a female roundness, the same as yours appears to be.

  • Wilma, grab the lotion, we're going to the beach!
Agree that it doesn't seem like a weight issue.  You appear to be in decent shape.  If it were something that could be concurred by diet and exercise, I think you'd already have done it.

Is that for me? - if so yes i did surgery. Im 2.5 months post op and not particulaly happy presently.

I followed a no carb siet and lifted intensly like yourself. See my thread here

it flattnes out but never goes away. If its gland, which i think yours is, then the only way forward would be to surgically remove it or try anti estrogens at your own risk.

Yeah I think I have had gyne all my life and thought it was fat... but the more I train and get in shape the more I am thinking it is gyne for sure.  So whats the deal.....  talk to a physcian and get a health reccomendation for plastic surgery then the insurance covers it?  WHat did you do?

You people make me sick. How the hell is that gyno? You do realize that excersizing chest muscles might actually result in the chest becoming bigger, right? In no way do I see any correlation between gyno and your chest. It doesn't look as if there is any tissue and your nipples are not puffy.

It is obvious that you lift weights as your traps and arms show... so I am going to go out on a limb and say that you do the bench. Dude, you don't have it. Please don't listen to the fools that say you do. And even IF you do, from these pictures there is no way any of them could have made an accurate judgement in the first place.

I can't believe you even though you had it in the first place.
