Hypo, I just started Adractim or whatever its called that stuff in the tubes, what are the risks of that?
If an individual has prostate cancer Andractim can accelerate the growth of this cancer and kill.
Hence the fact that it should only really be used via prescription.
Prior to use it is imperative that the person concerned has a PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) test to rule out prostate cancer.
The above noted Andractim cannot and does not cause prostate cancer.
Andractim can also accelerate hair loss in those men predisposed to male pattern balding- it has no affect on those that are not.
The side effects below have also been reported;
acne, Increased libido, increased erections, fatigue, increased leg strength
This is by no means an exhaustive list.
Anyone concerned about side effects whilst taking Andractim should;
A) Consult their prescribing doctor, detail the concerns and act upon advice given.

B) If self medicating, discontinue use and contact their gp at the earliest possible convenience.
