Surgeons in Edmonton, Alberta?

Hi, i was going to go in for a consultation with a local doctor here (can't recall the name right now ), and was wondering whether there was a specific doctor I should go to instead? Maybe one that has done work on people on these forums before with good results?

From what i've heard, there are a lot of things that can go wrong with this surgery, and I just want to get the best possible results

I had Dr Law he did a good job on me.. fielding however expect to wait longer if you want ohip to cover most of it since he is usually very booked ahead

my Dr (Dr. Law) i got in and out in a month surjury + consult

Lots of waiting time to get a consulatation and maybe 9 months to surgery, don't know anyone who had actual expierience with his suregery results. One big point 4 him is that ur surgery gets charged to ur AB health card.

Anyone know of doctor in edmonton that does the surgery under Alberta Health Care. I went to see a endocrinologist he refered me to a surgeon who was very impatient and finally after calling a few times they notified me that it wont be covered... and will cost $4500.

I went to my physician who referred me to an endocrinologist who sent me to a surgeon dr farooq in fort sasq. Wait times are faster there and I'm schedualed for june 26. It is covered if you ask your physician or endo. Not surgeon... I made sure he understood it affected me not only physically as well as mentally and asked if it would be covered. Also I understand some insurance companies do cover it.
