Me too...that things horrible. i called my PS today and he said wearing under armour (as long as reasonably tight) is fine after the first week or so. he said wear for another week.

Can i just use an under armour instead of the compression vest after week 1? It's pretty tight on me and actually seems like it provides more compression than the vest and its less obtrusive and obvious than the vest is.


Anyone know of any pros/cons?

For me, the thought of trying to squeeze into an Underworks shirt after surgery makes me cringe.  Like they said, ask your PS.

Even with my first surgery which was wayyy more painful (lipo only) I was able to put on an under armor shirt under my vest a couple days after surgery.

i think i saw your parents in the waiting room! small world huh? yeah the vest is mad snug. it feels so good to take it off and just let the water run down my chest in the shower, very relaxing.



yeah my follow up is tomorrow also, at 1:30pm.

i wore the vest for 1 week.  I just wore a crew neck tee shirt over it and then my regular shirt.  Nobody could tell.  My PS then had me switch to under armour.  I purchased three so I would always have a clean one to wear.  

I kept my vest on 24/7 (except for showers).  It was the most uncomfortable thing I ever wore.  I would wake up every hour in discomfort.  The under armour is a major improvement.

what do you think that would run me, I know that one may be tough to answer, but thought I would throw it out there anyways

It looks like he has done many procedures..that is very postive when looking for a Dr.

I am just starting to look for a Dr. for a procedure to be done perhaps 6moths to a year from now ( I want to drop some more weight before I go in for better results)
I have yo yo'd alot ..bet even when my weight is down , I still have areas that are stubborn

is there a spell check on this thing...lol???

I agree on the money thing and quality service.
I think I would stay in NY for a day or two after the procedcure...would want to do things right ya know, coming from florida

he is the first doctor that I have heard of that specializes in gyn..

another question,
I visited one doctor about 5 years ago, and he told me that he had a hard time lipoing   "flanks" he meant the side of the chest sort of under the arm...is that the case with Jacob's too, or other doctors as well? pehaps you coverd that in your consul??

i was also curious if after tissue/fat is removed, is there such a thing as tightening the skin to prevent saggy skin?  guess that could be a case by case thing
