Hormone tests are only a vague indicator. So when diagnosing endocrine problems you have to look at the overall symptoms combined with the blood test results.

If you didn't have gynecomastia this result would be nothing to worry about. But you do have gynecomastia. That makes the "high normal" estrogen level a serious red flag.

You could very possibly have a testicular tumor. Testicular tumors often secrete estrogen and cause gynecomastia.

Had an ultrasound on my testicles.  No tumors or any abnormalities.

My TOTAL estrogen was 138 picogram/mL.  Anything over 130 (high / normal) is considered excessive.  They think mine is being produced in the adipose tissue, which can only be decreased if I lose a lot of body fat.  I am overweight.

All other results came out normal.
