I don't think $1800 is a lot specially lot of work involved. Also other's are quoting me $3500+. And hey, $1800 is nothing for pain we are suffering for last 20 yrs.

I don't have pic yet but deffinetly post them.
Surgery done on Sept 6th, 2006 with Dr. Fielding - Toronto. Not 100% cured but will get there for sure !!!

Bossman,

He Also said he is larger then Average. Fielding charges on how severe the case is. His must be a lot more severe then mine and yours. 1800 is a lot for Fielding but not even close to what other PS's would charge. I think he is still getting a pretty good deal.

  • I just want to feel comfortable in my own skin!
I gladly paid $1600, but then again Dr. Fielding said I had a severe case! Hey it's MOST DEFINITELY THE BEST $1600 I have EVER spent!

I dont think I'm anywhere close to the final results, but already after 1 week I know that my posture has changed, I can walk with my shoulders back & my chest out, cause I no longer have man
B(   o   )(   o   )BS!!! I do have some extra skin but with wearing this tension bandage, time & some upper body weight training I'm sure everything will pull together just fine!  8)

Just for your information... they are booking consultations 2 or 3 months in advance. So this means if you book now..... you will get your Consultation probably in August or september.... then after that its like another 2 or 3 months wait for the Surgey. If I were you I would book the consultation now if you think you will be ready for surgery in about 4-6 months. Just thought I'd let you know that. Hope it helps.

Hey Guys,

My price was also $1800.  It seems that he has 3 prices right now: $1200, $1500, and $1800.  I can only assume that the difference is for how much "stuff" he needs to take out (ie, small, med, large).  I don't think I have a severe case?  I've always felt I have had a moderate case at most.  I am slightly overweight (but not much), however, I am a large, muscular guy - 6'4, 250.  Maybe it's been well hidden by the mass?  I'll post pics - before/after - when I get this done in late August and you guys can tell me if I had a more severe case than I had perceived.  I've never even had anyone really say anything about my gyne... although even "a-holes" are probably not that keen on bugging a big guy.  Being from out of town, he also has to book me into the hospital for the night - not sure if that adds cost?  That way he can see if a hemotoma is developing.  Local guys can always drive back if there is a problem, so he doesn't have them stay the night.

Regardless, $1800 is a small price to pay!

supaaman....

Sorry to say dude, but August (and September) 'can' be very hot and sticky in Toronto....    :o

John.

Bambu - Not looking forward to that.  Toronto - it's either too hot or too cold!  Coming from a Vancouver weather wimp!  I hope the hospital has a/c?

Mine is 1200 and I considered it a severe case. I guess it's cause I weigh 155, it really shows on me

Yeah,

He took a lot of measurements and said it was a large area, which wasn't news to me -  I never asked what the severity was.  I'll have to ask him at surgery and get feedback from you guys when I get photos up.  Not that it matters, but it would be interesting to get an objective perspective.

Yeah, St. Joseph's Health Center is A/C'd.   ;)

I have a feeling that this summer in Toronto/Brampton will not be very hot. It's been comfortable weather so far....
