ps says 6 weeks for kenalog shots to work??wtf?

..so I got shot up with a small dose of kenalog by my ps 3 weeks ago (1 side only), and he said itll take around 6 weeks to see the effects, if at all.

so Im wondering...

a) Is he full of shiit ?, since I noticed others on these boards talking about improvements resulting from various corticosteroid shots , literally within days..

b) Why do they take 6 weeks to work, if this is in fact true?
What is it that makes them need up to 6 weeks before working?


[so far, 3 weeks on and the side he shot up actually looks worse, and is harder and with an even more deformed looking contour (?) ]

Anyone know what the real go is with these shots?

my chest after the shots went harder.  now after about 3 weeks i have noticed a small improvement in regards to the scar tissue. it has worked and has shrank. im hoping it will shrink further,  if not i may need another shot and im sure that will do the trick.

6 weeks sounds right to me, i was told i could get another shot after 6 weeks.
