should you ice after lipo at all?

I wondered the same thing.  I'm going to see the doc tomorrow, so I will ask.
I will never forget this place when I become a rich and famous underwear model!

Ice sounds good right about now for me too (6 days post op), but I had a sheet of info from the PS that I've since lost that I think said no ice.  Let us know.

strange, i had my lipo from one of the top guys in LA and he said ice it all i want, i even slept with ice packs for a while.  I'm not 6 weeks out and I iced the whole time with no complications from it.

Ice usually reduces blood flow to an area so that would most likely slow down healing.  

I think Dr. Bermant also made a post recently saying that ice might cause tissue that would otherwise have survived to be lost or converted into scar tissue.
