hey.  no i wouldnt say just yet that the revision was a success.  he assured me he was very pleased with how it looked when he was done, and he said he was surprised at how much 'tissue' he took out, along with lipo.  he said it wont be a 'perfect' chest, etc, and thats fine, i just hope it goes back to what it looked like after about 30 hrs (about the time it looked pretty good when i took the vest off for a few mins).

he took one look at me this morning and the first thing he said was i was swollen.  then my left chest he pointed out had a 'wave effect' to it when poked..thats why he did the needle.

i am definately not as sore or immobile like i was the first time - i can raise my arms to parallel, and use my chest very lightly for around the house things.  i can even flex mildly with no problem...

i havent looked at the needle mark yet...it remains???  i didnt look at how thick the needle was, only saw how big the syringe was that he used...

I don't massage anymore.  If I massage hard, it ends up slightly bruising (I really used to work it in).  The soreness and any other effects are all gone, so I don't bother anymore.  I've gained about 10 pounds since surgery about 7 months ago, so I think it could look better than it is now.  I just hope that if I lose the 10 pounds, the fat on my chest doesn't stay.

Sometimes I think that I used to be really conscious my whole life about my chest.  I hated it because I felt I always had to cover up, especially in summer.  If I look at my chest now, I don't jump for joy because of the change.  Now, I just don't think about it anymore.  So, instead of saying I look good, I say to myself I am finally relieved to live normally and wear whatever I want.

The next test is going to be the beach.  I am conscoious about the red incision marks, because they don't look natural.  Lista says he makes them asymetrical so they look natural, but mine are too aligned.

I see Lista next in June for a check-up.  I'll ask then what my options are for the incision marks.  I think make-up before the beach may be the easiest choice.

HEY PETE,HOW DID YOUR VISIT GO FRIDAY?What are you using if anything for your incisions? i gave up on the silicone sheets for now and i've been using a gel in a tube called skin therapy it seems to help bought it at walmart also available at shoppers.

the visit was literally one minute long.  he seems happy with the results.  i showed him the left side still has shxt in it compared to the right, but he was not phased by it...ill be three weeks post op this thursday...then ill post some pics i guess...

im not using anything cream wise to massage, as i keep getting rashes from rubbing, and then compressing them all day in this damn vest...so i rub over top of the vest 3X daily still.

for the scars, the silicone sheets suck ass, and i had an allergic reaction to the tape i had to use to hold the stupid sheets on..so im using 'scarzone' i think its called, from shoppers, no idea if its making any difference, i used it up until a month before my revision, and it may have helped a bit i guess...

its hard to say right yet.  somedays i look in some mirrors and i think it looks ok.  not perfect...theres still more lipo i think could have been done, and i still have hard 'tubes' behind the left nip and up the chest outer line towards the armpit on both sides...under my right nip the tube(s) run down over my ribs like they did after the first surgery- painful when stretched at first.

ive been too busy to take pics and upload them, but ill try for my one month post revision op (this thursday)

i think one more revision would do it for me, but i really cant imagine a third right now...and its frustrating to know im not completely satisfied...

how about you?

Pete my results haven't changed much in my eyes i still see the crease in the right side and the left is still noticably larger.I'll take 3 month post op revision pictures in a couple of days and you tell me how bad it is or how noticable the defects are.I really started hitting the weights and cycling i think if i dropped 5 -10 more pounds it might help.5 years ago i used to weight 240lbs today i weight 170lbs and i'm 5'10" in height.

thats awesome about your weight reduction, i didnt realize you were that heavy prior...

one thing i can recommend to you to help you drop pounds properly (healthy) is to take whey protein powder daily.  I didnt for years, even though i trained with weights etc, and i thought protein supplement was only for bodybuilders, but you read any mens health or fitness mag and they say to take it...it builds muscle and burns fat...it annoys me to think of all the weights ive done, and i could have been so much better off if i had taken it.

Post some pics, Im sure like i said before to you, the crease was barely if at all there.

Pete, I saw your pics.  I don't really see that you needed the surgery in the first place.  I don't see the need for a revision either.  Your chest looks good now, I hope you are finally satisfied.
