Hey guys.  I think it was hypo-was-here who gave me a link to a great hypogonadism forum.  It turns out that I don't think low testosterone is my problem.  I went to a urologist today and I am probably going to need surgery in my grundle area to get my easy erections back.

The one I've been using now is: http://www.topix.net/forum/health/erectile-dysfunction

It kind of sucks because very few people ever post on it.  It's not as user friendly as this forum.

So, anybody else know of a good one? ???

Hi Wayne1985,

Yes I was the one who pointed you to the hypogonadism site.

I can't help with a forum- sorry.

I can give you guidelines in the treatment of such problems.

Wayne1985,

Just to add.

Given the erectile dysfunction is multifactoral, do not rule out the possibiltiy that your hormonal status is also a contributing factor as it might well be.  Not only does testosterone have to be high enough as well as dihydrotestosterone, but you also must have enough free testosterone not bound to SHBG or blocked by estradiol.  Also estradiol if high independently of testosterone free or otherwise can also cause ED as can too low a level of estradiol.

I am not saying for one second that the problem you have is hormonal, just that I would not rule it out as a contributing factor until you have your hormones nicely balanced on treatment.

On that note I would say stick around on the hypogonadism forum so that you can get help on that matter and be well versed on how it can affect ed also if not correctly treated.
