I'm not sure on price, but I'm guessing around $500.

I don't want to post pics...I don't have any good before pics of the scars anyway.  But as for the after pics, the nipples look too grusome right now, and I know most people will be thinking "oh my god" or something, so I don't even wanna put them up, it will discourage me...I think all I am going to do is put up before/after pics once I think I finally look good...that way I will have no worries by then

I'll be interestd to hear your thoughts at the end of 1 week.

If this turns out to be an effectiveprocedure , then I think if my scars still look like crap in a few months, I will undergo it too.

luck mate!

Well it's now 3 days since the scar revision and nipple reduction...for some reason things don't look so good anymore

...I'm not gonna be too much of a downer cuz it's too early to know what the final result will be, I mean the stitches are still in...but the right nipple looks really wide...like the size of 2 nipples...I wasn't even like this before the surgery, so I'm guessing it's some sort of swelling...better be anyway

...the left nipple looks pretty good and I think it will heal nicely, but I think he coulda taken a bit more off

...I will update on Friday when the stitches come out...but if I notice some good improvement before that I will post

I had the stitches out today and it kills me to say this, but once again I am unhappy with the results.

The left nipple I think is going to be good, but the right one, looks bigger than before the surgery...I basically need another nipple reduction on that one.

I think I will go to my original PS for that one because there's no way Fielding will re-operate in time for summer...If I call on Tuesday May 24 to my original PS, I think I can get an appt and surgery for near the end of June...the nipple reduction healing time is VERY short (2-3 weeks)...so if I can get in around the end of June, I will be okay for my 1st vacation of the summer at the end of July.

I'm still swelled and bruised so you never know, but it's really tough to be optimistic after 3 surgeries now without being satisfied

I'm not totally bummed tho because I feel like I know what I need to do, and I think I can do it in time, that's all I fuckin ask for...even paying another few hundred bucks for this next surgery, I'm okay with...I just want it to work

btw, I'm not 100% sure I'm going for this next surgery...I will book an appt but I will see how tings develop in the mean time

Well one the first surgery leaves too much gland and doesn't do lipo, and leaves hypertrophic scars, there's a problem

and also...I don't even really have gyne anymore...What I have now is big nipples from the hypertrophic scars, not the whole areola, just the nipples...they're red, big, and pointy.  I can live with the tiny bit of gland thats left cuz I know it's normal to have a little...if I get the nipples corrected I will be okay...right now, bottom line is that I still can't take my shirt off because of the nipples...I could use a bit of lipo still too actually, but it's not a big deal and I'm not worried about it...so no I don't have any kind of body perception problem, I wish that's what it was

Well here's what's going on.  I'm baout 10.5 months post op from my original surgery.

I am having another nipple reduction this Thurs June 16 with Dr. Assad, my original PS, since the first nipple reduction with Fielding didn't do darn all.

The thing that suck is, I know that this isn't the only thing I need done STILL.  I will have to have one final op after this one in October with Fielding again.  Fielding won't do a revision until 6 months post op from the lipo he did, cuz he says it will get better but I know it won't.  Anyway, the 6 month mark will be Sep 21, 2005, which is the exact date I will make my consultation for.  I will have the LAST surgery sometime in October with Fielding.  I will have him do a very minor excision, and finish the lipo and get it all this time.

The nipple reduction I'm having this Thurs could very well be all I need to take my shirt off this summer, which I desperately hope it will be able to do.

The scar revision by Fielding worked great by the way.  He just didn't do much for the nipple reduction.

Bottom line is I still have a bit of gland and a bit of fat...and a bit too much nipple which should be gone this Thurs.

I think this whole process is worse than I ever imagined it could be...I wasn't butchered or anything, but op after op is killing me....I just want this gone

I had the nipple reduction with Dr. Assad today.

He took A LOT away and I just looked at it at home, and it looks really really good.

I didn't think he'd get them to look this good...they look tiny, flat, and normal...It's amazing how it can be done.

I know I've been through this before just a month ago, but this time it looks significantly better.

He even cut out some scar tissue since he had me cut open.  He showed me the scar tissue after he cut it away, and for anyone who's interested, it's white, thick and obviously bloody.

He also injected the site of excision with cortisone/steroid injections, and also injected deeper into the remaining scar tissue again.

When I looked in the mirror I thought I looked normal already, so I have pretty high expectations for the final results now.  But of course I am cautious condisering what I've been through.

congrats dude... I hope you're almost where you want to be.

How many procedures have you accrued now this far ?

do you need to wear a compression vest for the scar revision or nip reduction?

and how invasive was the scar revision compared to the original surgery ? were you getting scar tissue revised or the actual incision scars or both ?

AM FOLLOWING YOUR  PROGRESS INTENTLY MATE.

Looks like I will be definitely needing a revision too ( I can say that confidently now, even though Im only 12 weeks out from my surgery...  but as per most cases, Ive gotta wait  out the 6 month buffer)

I've had 4.  But really only 1 was major, 1 was moderate, and 2 were minor.

No compression vest for the scar revision or nipple reductions.

The scar revision healed completely in literally 3 weeks...it's entirely a surface only incision and heals just like any other minor cut on your body would.  I was getting just the incision scars improved.  It was Z-Plasty, and it worked great.  I'd say it improved my scars by 80% ...they're not a concern anymore.

So, if you think you need your surface scars improved, I completely recommend the Z-Plasty...I'm still not even sure how it works so well, but it does and thats all that matters.

Thanks for the update.

congrats on the nip reduction and z-plasty. hopefully you will be able to avoid another op.

as for myself Im pretty sure Im gonna need a second op.
while I cant see myself getting away without a z-plasty, I also have assymetry I want to correct, but would ideally like to be a fair bit flatter overall. Im guessing that my revision is gonna be anything but a minor "touch-up"

T

ps. I am also keen to see some pics of yours
