  • Its a good thing i didnt like sports anyway
Pretty much same story here as sadgyne, 4 months post and very unhappy with results. Lipo is just not answer unless you are obese, to put it bluntly, the core of the gland is simply too tough for the scapula to completely remove; although the outer portions of gyne were removed.  Have already scheduled another appointment with another doc, this time demanding excision and guarantee of revision surgery if I so desire. I do object a little to whoever stated some guys are afraid of demanding another surgery from doctor who performed first surgery, I personally dont want that ps cutting me open again.

my case is really similar to yours but the doctor said he sees a big improvement. I don't know what the heck he's thinking. It's better but nothing like how I thought I would look afterwards.

My doctor said I just had fat though.

lipo only will never cure glandular gynecomastia or fat+gland gynecomastia.

all surgeons will say they see an improvement blah blah etc. This is because no surgeon will criticise his work. You cant expect them to say "I havent done very well there have I".

You need to have surgery that involves glandular removal.

Liposuction is a very powerful tool for contouring fat.  You do not need to be obese for liposuction to help.  Liposuction is an important component of my Dynamic Technique for contouring the fat component of my sculpture.

Here is one such patient without much fat that liposuction played an important role.

However, all forms of liposuction preferentially remove fat over gland.  That includes sharp cutting cannula, ultrasonic, and power assisted liposuction.  Acutally liposuction is not a good tool for removing gland.

I see many patients from around the world who did not like the residual gland after liposuction alone surgery by their doctor(s).  Liposuction often plays a role for refinement during my Revision Male Chest Sculpture

Hope this helps,

I'm in a similar boat. I still have Gyne, but now I have big ugly scars to explain!
Please, Jesus, make my gyne go away!

Over the last couple weeks I have been seeing minor improvements, so I'm not gonna question him until maybe after summer.

what do you think is the cause why i didnt attain big improvements? do you think there is some gland?

Every time someone posts here about unsatisfactory results, it's because they got lipo-only or excision-only surgery.  You need to have excision.

I have never seen a post from someone who had lipo-only that was praising their results.  It's the sad truth but when people get gyne surgery, they need to find a surgeon whose technique employs both liposuction and excision of the mammary gland.

I'm very sorry you are not happy with your results.  You need to go back to your PS and see about a free correction that includes gland excision.
