I'm coming up on 2 weeks post-op and my chest still has some hard spots. When I lift my arms up I can feel it hurting a little bit right where this hard tissue is. Is it bad to stetch like this if it still hurts?

BTW almost 2 weeks now and it looks a little better but still saggy and flabby.  :-[

I curse the world for giving me this affliction.  :'(

I wouldnt try to. If you rip the new tissue that is forming, it will take longer to recover. There will be more swelling. More scar tissue.

Someone on here was bragging that they could put a back pack on 1 day or so post op.

Its the same concept.

I could of put a back pack on 1 day post op if I wanted to also. I knew better than to try and streatch back there to put it around my shoulders. Not a good idea. Don't reach over your head if it hurts.  :)

depends on the extent of the surgery but generally i'd say don't stretch it - at the very best you'll widen the scar and that's something that you want to be as invisible as possible. so leave it to heal.

and it's asggy and flabby due to water and fluid retention. remember your body is still recovering from an operation and the fluid will be it's form of protection from you bumping and prodding the wound.

it'll calm down in the next couple of weeks.

honestly
