Boat Race
Hey guys, just wondering if anyone watched the boat race between Oxford and Cambridge today. What did you think, and of the event in general?

I went to Oxford so was extremely happy with the result  ;D ;D ;D

And it was great to be out by the Thames in a t shirt with wind blowing and not having to worry aabout gyne! yay! good day all round

Boat racing? I dont think we get that here in america on Speedvision on directv channel 607.

Like, was it a paddle race or a motorboat race, or a toy boat race?

no, this is team rowing, a.k.a. crew.  they do it on a stretch of the thames near hammersmith.  lot of the east coast schools in the states do the same.  

serg, do the victors toss the cox into the drink over there too?

Not that I'm aware of - but to be honest I don't know what happens at the boat parties! At the end of the race the rowers can barely move. Ouch.
