I didn't take this, but this is Palo duro canyon. It is about 30 minutes away by car from Amarillo Texas.

Woah... Now wait a min.  I've been to the yellow city, but I saw flat, inverted Cadillacs and a giant cross...

Where is that?

Great pics guys. I love it how our respective countries are similar size and just as scenically diverse. Big shout out to everyone reading this - join the fun!

Couple more early morning pics. First one is on a road trip to I can't remember where, second one is at Palm Cove in far north QLD. It just so happens that we're going back there next week for a short break, the jury is out whether going through a heap of my photos lately has triggered that desire to revisit!

South to Canyon Texas (20min.), then continue south for (10min) to Palo duro state park.
We call it our mini-grand canyon. 😉

Beach!
I love the beach..

BUT, the closest beach for me is Baja California (440 mi), then the Pacific coast.
(630 mi.)

I miss the beach.

Ill have to check out the canyon area.   funny how these topographical places exist we know nothing about.

🤣 one of my grandfathers was Welsh. Quite the character he was.
I can attribute my red hair, looks, and light skin to him.
I'm only 2nd & 3rd generation American to be exact. 😉
