1 Day post-op question.

Just had surgery Tuesday morning. It was a pretty minor case of gyne that only required excision and no lipo. The surgeon said that I should be good to shower and remove the giant bandage by Thursday... It's now Wednesday night and this bandage is getting really tight and making it tough to take full breaths... I removed it early and am now wearing underarmour. Just wondering if this will suffice for now until my followup appointment on Friday?

hmm every case is different i suppose the nurse told me to shower everyday and wash the garment too. first 2 days were toughest to shower now 7 day post op here and am having more confidence when showering, i had bandages too the first day but the next day after shower i was told to take them out and just wear the compression garment... so every case is different.

It should be good i suppose but i am not a doctor :p just a patient like you are.
