I had gynecomastia taken out of both sides of my chest by excision 2 months ago. all together i would say the surgery was a success. the painful lumps were gone and you cant even see my scars anymore. however a couple weeks ago lumps started coming back with some pain when pressed on. it also seems to be slightly puffing out. i would assume this is scar tissue as i dont think anything could have grown back at this point. will this continue to get worse over time? also will it go away on its own eventually? thanks

From your description and the timeline, it would seem that you are developing scar tissue.  If so, then return to your surgeon to discuss.  He/she may recommend cortisone injections, either immediately or within a few months.

Good luck!
