3 days post op, difficulty breathing

im like really short of breathe and have been wheezing the passed two days. the day i had my operation i was immaculate but now im just really short of breathe. im going to see my PS(Dr. Jacobs) who happens to be excellent by the way, tuesday. but im just really uncomfortable and would like to sleep longer then 3 hours tonight. when i say short of breath i mean im like panting whenever i get up. i quit smoking 2 weeks prior to surgery, im not completely inactive. i used to do 45 minutes of intense cardio everyday. i dont know if im being neurotic or if i am really that out of breathe. just am really uncomfortable any direction would help!

hey i had the exact same problem after my surgery. It comes from the tube they may have put down your throat during surgery for breathing. it took about 5 days for my breath to come back. Just drink cold liquids and take deep breaths.
