Hello everyone

It's been 4 weeks since surgery, but my nipples are still a bit puffy. I saw my docter 2 weeks after the surgery and he drained what looked like blood from my nipples - however he didn't drain it all so they are still puffy. I read somewhere that blood under the nipple could result in a bad final result, but shouldn't my doctor have reacted if it was blood and not "normal" fluid? Apart from that my questions are;

If it is 'normal' fluid - how long will it take for the body to absorb it?

And is there a significant difference between blood and fluid under the nipple? In other words, what does the fluid under the nipple look like?
