Biodermis Silicone Gel Sheets (for surgery scars)

Has anyone here had experience with these products?

They look tempting, but also very expensive. I wonder for how many hours a day I would wear them, for how many days post-surgery, and at what point post-surgery (after the compression vest comes off? after the stitches come out? when?).

Any help would be fantastic.

I just had my surgery yesterday, and am planning on ordering some after the weekend. They're expensive, but apparently you can just buy a sheet, and cut them into little pieces.
