hey
im 4 weeks post op and i had excision buh my right side i feel hard stuff bhind it lyk how it was before culd it be anything else or did he leave glands behind :S really confused??

Best to return to your surgeon to discuss this point. He would obviously know how much tissue he left behind to support the nipples.
It is quite common at this stage for there to be firmness behind the nipples. This can be swelling or scar tissue as well as residual gland. This is not the time to start worrying unnecessarily. There are treatments available if necessary.

Treatments might include massage, ultrasound, steroid injections or even surgical revision. Each potential treatment has strengths and weaknesses and should be used at the appropriate time -- as recommended by your own surgeon.
