how late can scar tissue form after surgery?

Hi, I'm 4 going on 5 weeks postop and (thank god) havent formed any scar tissue yet, I've been basically wearing my vest 24/7 the whole time. By now can I safely wear a tight underarmour, sparingly, and not be worried of scar tissue formation or should i wait longer?

lucky you dude!
personally, i'd wear compression vest for as long as i could stomach it..imagine u take it off now and start forming scar tissue...you'd KICK yourself!! do a few more weeks i'd say..just to make sure..lucky sod!!lol

Well mine started forming around 2 months post op.  I wore the compression thing for 4 weeks.  Scar tissue peaked at around 3 months post op and now its just sort of stagnating.  I'm waiting for it to go down :-)
