how long post op until you were satisfied

I'm 1 month post gland excision and still singing the puffy nipple blues..how long until u guys were happy?

The average healing time is about 4-6 months -- shorter in some and longer in others.  Be patient -- you are just at the beginning of the true healing phase.

After 7 weeks I was comfortable with my shirt off in public. Scarring was still evident if you knew where to look and looked very closely. There was also a very faint bruise left on one side (pretty much unnoticable but I knew it was there). As far as swelling, there was and still is a bit of puffyness left but it only becomes noticable if I flex my chest tightly and I swear its getting less and less noticable every day.

I also had gland excision only and I wore the compression vest nearly 24/7 for those 7 weeks.

Also, I'm 9 weeks post surgery now.
