How long should I wait before moving out moms house, after surgery?

I'm having surgery on bothsides of chest on Sept. 24 th. I going to be moving out sometime in oct.. How long do you think I should wait to move. I only have to bags, a rolling one and a backpack. So no major lifting, I've seen people taking off a weeks worth of work before returning, would this be the same. Thank You

I'd wait at least 3 years.
