I haven't ran by this topic too much and I' just curious to see how many people were instructed to keep their chest elevated while they're sleeping to minimize swelling. I made this homemade 'recliner' using pillows on my bed. I've been sleeping almost sitting up since my surgery, and I have barely any swelling. (its actually very comfortable) I know I'm only 5 days post-op and I may swell up at some point, but just thought I'd share the tip..

I just had my surgery a week ago and I just sleep on a recliner. It keeps my chest elevated and is quite comfortable. It just took some getting used to because I was a stomach sleeper.
