Hi everyone,

I had my surgery a little over a year ago, whilst i'm happy to now be able to wear t shirts etc my scar tissue is still no where near healed to a level of being able to take my top off in public.

My left nipple has hard bumps around the outside which are a lighter shade of pink which changes colour if i press it, almost idential but not as bad on the right.

There are also still marks under my nipple where the lipo was done.

I've been massaging with various oils, at least once a day.

Will things change/get better after this amount of time?

Cheers

Hi robbo,  have you tried using silicone sheeting?  It's supposed to help with pigment and height of both new and old scars.  I had surgery just over two weeks ago and my surgeon recommends it and sells it at his office.  I just started using it today and will continue for the next couple months.  From what I've read, it takes more time to be effective on older scars, but it might be worth a shot if you're not happy.
