I am 3.5 weeks post surgery, and have built up some hard scar tissue under the left nipple incision area, and it is clearly tethered (or stuck) to the Fascia... It is slightly noticeable when relaxed, and more noticeable when flexing or reaching to the right...

Been trying to do research to see what the likelihood of this going away (scar tissue detaching from fascia) on it's own, with some massage and time?

Would appreciate a % figure... What % of patients that have this issue, have it go away on its own with time, without having to endure another "Revision" surgery or cortisone shots...

Im just under a month post op, and want to know what I can honestly expect, as it is bothering me, and I want to make sure that I am fully aware of what the chances are that it will detach with time...

Would appreciate any feedback from experienced surgens who understand this matter.

Thank you!

I have the same issue and I think over the last couple of months its slighly improved, still stuck though, I'm going to keep massaging the tissue and hopefully it will loosen, this looks like it will take a long time. You may need a small kenalog shot eventually to break up the scar tissue if it doesn't

Thanks for the input tony55! Hope it does go away with time... Would be interested in hearing from some other surgeons regarding this matter. Would be nice if they respond to this thread!
