Scar Tissue

I'm almost 2 months post op and the results are so far so good but I still have developed some scar tissue beneath the scars.  I massage every night but im not sure its really helping.  Just wondering if anyone else has this problem and how to get rid of it, I can tell my nipples would be completely flat if it wasnt there so it bugs me a little
maybe i need to give it more time?

p.s. how do u tell if its scar tissue and n ot just the gland returning?

ok i'll ease up on the massaging, do u know if working out will affect it it at all? like help or hurt it?

yeah id like to know also how can you tell it's just scar tissue and not the gland that is making the nipple erect and puff out a little.

Massaging every night didn't make my scar tissue go away ... taking my mind off my chest did.

Just let your chest heal, and try your best not to be conscious about any lumps or bumps ...

I noticed that the more I was concerned about a weird bump near my nipple the bigger it felt and the longer it stayed ... as soon as I forgot about it it felt like it wasn't their ...

My PS said that 6 mos post-op some need an injection of cortisone to dissolve scars deep down inder the skin. Be patient.
