Skin elasticity post-op?

Hello all, 

I am wondering what other's experience has been with skin re-tightening post-op? In other words, did the tissue around your breast and areola immediately retract post surgery, or was there a definite progression over the first 6-8 weeks for the skin to tighten back? I'm concerned about my own results being that in general I would say I don't have the best skin elasticity genetics (I get stretch marks pretty easily) but I am hoping my skin will tighten up. I would have thought with swelling the skin would actually be more taught than it is.

Hello there,
I am on week 7 post op and i should say, i am not happy with the results... I`ve been wearing my compression vest till day 1 and still wearing it. It`s flat, but not looking good at all... Not feeling to walk shirt less right now. My doctor says it will get better with time, not sure when i look to others results, for me, it should be MUCH better now... Good luck!
