So I'm 10 days post and I haven't noticed any scar tissue developing until last night in the shower. There is a bit of indentation or lump which I believe is scar tissue. It's almost the exact place where my tube was. Does this sound familiar to anyone else that scar tissue will develop around the site of the drainage tube? Please ease my worries and tell me so and that it will go away. I think I look great besides this. I know I need to be patient and stop obsessing but I just can't help it.

This seems to be normal. I am about 6 months post-op (lipo+excision). The site where the doctor did the lipo and later where he put the drainage tubes did form scar tissue. This has gradually gone away. I can still feel a small amount, but I am confident that in time it will all disolve. Read up on the massage posts that are posted here. Massaging seems to help speed the rate scar tissue disappears.

Good luck,
Rob
